Deer fencing is a woven wire fence stretched onto round wood posts.   We use 6" end, corner and gate posts, 5" brace posts, 4" line posts and 4" horizontal braces.  We use an 11 ga brace wire with strainer.  The woven wire we use is Stay-Tuff.

When holding deer in you need a 10' high fence.  If you are looking to keep deer out of an area then a 6' or 8' high fence will work, depending on the location of your project.
